Lowball Lab privacy policy.

Lowball Lab app

Lowball Lab is designed as a local-first offer calculator. Version 1 does not require an account, does not run a Newman AI Works backend for app data, does not include ads, and does not include an analytics SDK.

The app may store item names, seller asks, resale values, comparison prices, selected risk flags, notes, app settings, local Pro entitlement status, saved deal records, and Pickup Proof records on your device. Pickup Proof records can include item photos, serial or model numbers, agreed price, condition notes, payment method, meetup date, meetup location, buyer or seller names or handles, and optional signatures or initials if you choose to enter them.

Screenshot import is user-initiated. When you choose a listing screenshot, the app reads text from that image on your device to help fill title and price fields. Screenshots are not uploaded to a Newman AI Works server by the app.

Link import is user-initiated. When you paste a public listing link and tap the import control, the app may try to read that public web page directly from your device to fill listing fields for your review. Lowball Lab does not connect to marketplace accounts, does not ask for marketplace passwords, does not crawl in the background, and does not mass scrape websites. Private-network and local-device links are blocked.

Sharing is user-controlled. If you share a deal summary or Pickup Proof record through the operating system share sheet, the destination app or service you choose handles that shared content under its own privacy practices.

On Android, Lowball Lab offers an optional Pro Monthly subscription through Google Play in-app purchases. If the iOS app is approved and made available, Apple App Store in-app purchases will apply there. Google Play and Apple process payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and related account data according to their own terms and privacy practices. The app stores a local entitlement after a successful purchase or restore.

You can remove app data from your device by using Clear local data in the app settings or by deleting the app. Clearing local data removes saved deals and settings from the device, while store subscription records remain managed by the applicable app store.

Local app data is protected by the device, operating system, and backup settings you use. Newman AI Works does not sell local app data and cannot delete records that were never sent to Newman AI Works.

Lowball Lab and the Lowball Lab website are not intended for children under 13, and Newman AI Works does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Lowball Lab.

If a future version adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, crash reporting, ads, or other data collection, this policy and app store data disclosures should be updated before those changes are released.

Lowball Lab website

The Lowball Lab website can collect your name, email address, consent status, and source when you join the update list. Newman AI Works uses that information to send Lowball Lab release notes, availability notes, and product feedback asks.

The website may also record lightweight interaction events, such as update-list submissions and navigation clicks, to understand whether the product page is useful. If the database is unavailable, the site can save update-list and event records to local server storage for operational continuity.

Lowball Lab does not require marketplace logins, does not complete payments between buyers and sellers, and does not sell your update-list email.

Update-list and website event records are kept only as long as needed for product updates, operations, spam prevention, or legitimate business records. You can request deletion of your update-list record by emailing newmanaiworks@newmanaiworks.com.
